Responsive design is really awesome... Most of our clients require it
for their websites. But we have to recognize that one of the it's
disadvantages is the loading time, which lasts longer than for usual
site. It requires more work on optimization of the loading time. Thanks
for the article!

People spend a lot of money & time in turning their desktop sites into responsive ones before understanding what their user's behavior is on mobile.

A conversion doesn't have to be a sale. Simply understanding your users behavior on mobile can assist users to buy your items later on desktop. For example, adding a simple "save for later" button on your items (on mobile) can send an email to your user that will allow them to continue their shopping on their desktop later.

The idea is simply to better understand what your users are trying to do than to just follow the herd and make your site fit all screens.
